Snow......

A few weeks ago we got snow in Texas, the kids enjoyed their snow days..

We were kinda shocked to the amount of snow we got..

We enjoyed making snow cream, snow angels, a huge snowman..

A very proud momma....

I am proud to say that all my kids have made the honor roll for the second

nine weeks.

Michael made straight A's, he's in 3 honors classes and

in those 3 classes he made 100's..

Hannah and Spencer both made all A's and one B..

Hannah made a C last nine weeks in Social Studies and this

nine weeks she made a 100.. Spencer is my lil speller, He always

makes 100's in spelling...

I am one proud momma

I love these kids....

Parenting......

I know this is a touchy subject and that we all parent in different ways. I breastfeed and formula fed my babies, I used cloth diapers and sposies. I don't spank but do use time out.. We all parent in our own ways..

But as parents we all do the one thing that is the same, we make sure that before anything else in our life, we take care of our children.
I cant stand these moms out there that put their life before their children. The ones that party every single night and rather by cigarettes and liquor before they buy food for their children.. It really just makes me want to go and slap these moms. I put NOTHING before my children, for example I was just given money for my birthday and I used it on my children.. I as a single mom make sure that my kids have everything they need, maybe not everything they want but for sure everything they need.
My kids will not go without while I have what I want...
Why are these moms just caring about themselves and not their children? It makes me angry.. VERY ANGRY!
That's my little vent of the evening.. Hopefully I don't offend anyone out there... and If I do, this is my blog =)

Been MIA

Sorry I haven't been around much! Its been a hectic around here with Jen's Drs appts and getting ready for school to start back. I cant believe that my kids go back to school in 8 days. I go register Michael tomorrow for middle school. I am still in shock that my son is going into 6th grade. Its going to be a different world for him but I know he will adapt quickly.

Spencer just got home from Texas, He spent 2 weeks with my mom and sister. He had a blast fishing and swimming. I missed him like crazy and told him that he can not ever leave me again..

We have also been busy with Jens Dr appts, She has some nerve damage in her arm and is back and forth with test and ortho appts. She is always in so much pain and I feel so bad for her. We head back to Dr in the morning to get results of her last test and figure out when she will have surgery! They are going to go in and look around and release some nerve tension. Thankfully she will not be out of work for very long. She is just eager to get this surgery over and done with.. And I agree, I just don't want to see her in pain anymore.

I have still yet to finish my story when it comes to *mysecrets* but I will, I promise! I just gotta get through these Dr's appts with her and getting the kiddos off to school. Then it will just be me at home! WOW, all day long no kids, Just mommy time!! So please bare with me for the next few weeks and I will get back to where I left off!!!
