Old Sap

My kiddos are all tucked away and hopefully dreaming of the first day of school. Spencer kept telling me all day that he wasn't going to cry and he was going to be a big boy.. We shall see..

I cant believe that summer is over and its back to school already. It really seems like they just got out. But its time and we are all ready.

Today we went to Michael's school * middle school* and as we were touring the campus, I got teary eyed. Jen looked at me and asked me was I crying and it was hard not to fight back the tears. I am one of those mega emotional moms. The fact that my son is going to middle school is kinda sad. It just seems like yesterday he was in diapers. But they must grow up and I had to wipe my tears away today and march on..... Now I just hope he doesn't get lost in that big school..

I am sure my tears will roll more tomorrow and will roll more in 2 weeks when my oldest child starts High School. Thinking about this right now has tears flowing. I guess I am just an old sap......

I got teary when I took Nae to 6th grade last year. It was such a bigger school and I was so afraid for her. She was totally fine though. She did great in middle school! He will do just fine!

Hang in there sweetie!

I'm so there with you. Becca is going into middle school and I'm scurred! Seth will be in school all by himself because Kyle will be home with me doing his school online.

{{{Hugs}}}...sometimes I think those big transition are harder on us than on the kids.
